Spicy Pumpkin Hummus
Yields: 8 Servings
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 2 teaspoons salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor or high-powered blender and process until smooth
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Cover and store in the refrigerator.
- Keeps fresh up to 4 days.
- Serve with spicy homemade pita chips
